Successful search for missing persons: The police found a 79-year-old man who had not returned to a residential facility in Planegg late on Friday afternoon and was then reported as missing, unharmed on Saturday at around 1.30 p.m. and brought him back again. Because employees of the residential facility on Germeringer Strasse had to assume that the man might be disoriented and needed help, they reported him missing on Friday and informed the police. Extensive search measures for the 79-year-old near the residential facility and at potential contact addresses initially did not bring the desired success. It appeared the following day. In the early Saturday afternoon, a passer-by became aware of the 79-year-old and notified the police. A patrol crew picked up the man and brought him back to the living facility.
