Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich: This is how the exhibition Das Kranken(n)haus – SZ-Kritik – Munich is

If you are ill, you don’t just need good doctors. The exhibition “The Hospital” in the Architecture Museum in the Pinakothek der Moderne shows how people-friendly buildings can help to get well.

The federal and state governments argued for days until they were able to agree on the cornerstones of the hospital reform proposed by Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach at the beginning of the week. The core of this reform: In future, it should be less about the economy and more about medical care. On the one hand, that’s good. Because if hospitals are under pressure to provide as many medical services per patient as possible, i.e. their financing depends on the number of cases treated (keyword case flat rates), then this is the wrong approach.
