On February 10, 2023, Pierre Palmade caused a serious road accident in Seine-et-Marne. While driving a vehicle and under the influence of narcotics, the comedian had hit a car in which were three people who were seriously injured: a 38-year-old man, his 6-year-old son and her 27-year-old sister-in-law, who lost the baby she was expecting after the collision.
In police custody, the comedian admitted to having consumed cocaine and synthetic drugs before driving. In its edition of Sunday August 13, the Parisian, by cross-checking the hearings of the various protagonists of the affair, was able to confirm that Pierre Palmade had consumed an impressive quantity of drugs before the tragedy.
Eight injections between noon and the accident
The artist took cocaine, 3-MMC (a synthetic drug), and GHB in less than a day. According to one of the passengers in the vehicle, the 55-year-old actor even pricked himself about eight times between noon and the accident.
While in police custody, one of the passengers claimed that Pierre Palmade “was in no condition to drive”. Asked about the issue, the latter told investigators: “I was unconscious from taking the car under narcotics. Usually I’m careful because my father died in a car accident. » However, he repeatedly refused to hand over the steering wheel to one of the passengers. The actor would have explained that he wanted to drive himself.

The car was biting the solid line
According to a recent expert report, neither the condition of Pierre Palmade’s vehicle nor its speed were the cause of the tragedy. CCTV footage showed the passing car, which was already biting into the solid line shortly before the crash.
Pierre Palmade was indicted for homicide and involuntary injuries by a driver who used narcotics in a state of legal recidivism. He faces up to ten years in prison and a fine of €150,000. The comedian has not been hospitalized since the beginning of June and his judicial review has been reduced.
