The US nature conservation organization The Nature Conservancy has existed since 1951. It supports projects in more than 70 countries and regions, advises governments on nature and climate protection, conducts research and develops sustainable cultivation and sales methods at local level. More than a million members support the non-profit organization, which has annual sales of more than one billion US dollars. Its members include politicians, scientists and employees of banks and corporations.
