The sky over Paris is gray and the weather is not unimportant in this case: On Wednesday, while Paris Saint Germain lost to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, a heavy thunderstorm hit the French capital. Thunder rumbled, clouds poured out – usually after such downpours, a large part of the precipitation flows unfiltered through the street canals into the Seine and picks up a lot of unpleasant bacteria on its way through the city. But that’s exactly what needs to end now. Or at least almost.
