A little before 3 p.m. on Monday, a person was hit by a train between Toulouse and Montauban. Arrived on the spot, the help began the first research at the level of the commune of Fenouillet, road of Lacourtensourt, at the level of the railway track, according to the SDis from Haute-Garonne. After numerous investigations, the firefighters discovered the victim as well as a dog. Both were declared dead.
For now, the circumstances of the accident remain unknown.
The train is at a standstill with its 150 passengers awaiting the end of the intervention. Train traffic is interrupted in both directions. The SNCF already foresees more than two hours of delay on certain lines, in particular that connecting the capital.
