Two men attacked each other with a baseball bat and a telescopic stick because of a missing key chain. A 35-year-old was convinced that a 26-year-old friend was in possession of his key ring and looked for him in his apartment in Passau, said a police spokesman. Both men were under the influence of alcohol. The 35-year-old climbed the canopy of a house and tried to reach the friend’s balcony with a telescopic stick. To prevent this, the 26-year-old hit the intruder with a baseball bat until he fell over. Officials had to take him into custody because he said he would clarify the matter. A complaint awaits him for a violation of the weapons law. The 26-year-old has to answer for dangerous bodily harm.
