The Parisiennes have not cracked. The title, which has been waiting for them since their draw in Lyon last weekend, officially returns to Paris Saint-Germain this Friday evening. And this is historic.

Victorious on Friday against Dijon (3-0) in women’s D1, PSG won the first French league title in its history, putting an end to 14 years of hegemony of the Olympique Lyonnais.

Germany’s Sara Dabritz from the penalty spot, captain Irene Paredes and Canada’s Jordyn Huitema scored the game-winning goals.

Celebrations at the Park on Saturday

The Parisiennes end the season undefeated and with 62 points… ie a tiny point more than the Lyonnaises who end with a victory (8-0) against Fleury.

“I’m very proud of my players, they have had a wonderful season. We waited a long time for this trophy, it’s very special. It is one more trophy for this season for the club ”, rejoiced President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi at the microphone of Canal + Sport.

The Parisian club announces that its women’s section will celebrate its title at the Parc des Princes this Saturday, June 5 at 2 p.m. For the occasion, 1,000 supporters are invited to the stadium.
