Parents of a three-year-old couldn’t find their daughter after dinner. They start a search – and make a tragic discovery: the girl is in the closed washing machine.

A three-year-old girl was found dead in her parents’ washing machine in Paris. The Paris public prosecutor’s office announced on Friday that investigations into the death of the small child were ongoing after the discovery the previous evening.

The newspaper “Le Parisien” reported that the father and one of the four older siblings found the girl in the washing machine late in the evening. According to the father, the door was closed, but the machine was not running. Rescue workers took the child in critical condition and found his death about an hour later. According to initial findings, the girl could have suffocated.

The three-year-old’s parents reportedly had dinner with one of their five children. After the meal they were concerned because the girl, the youngest, was not there. The other children are between seven and 18 years old. The family then started a search operation in their apartment in the 20th arrondissement of Paris and in the surrounding area with the help of the neighbors.
