Paris: a man shot in the head amid a fight, the alleged perpetrator arrested

A 50-year-old man was arrested during the night from Friday to Saturday May 14 in Paris, in the 18th arrondissement. He is suspected of having shot and killed another man in the ninth against the backdrop of a brawl between motorists and an obscure dispute.

Around 2:30 a.m., a fight broke out on Boulevard de Clichy opposite the Corcoran’s pub. Three men attack a fourth. A motorist passes by at the wheel of his BMW X5. He stops and tries to reason with the trio and orders them to stop.

The alleged perpetrator was wanted

The victim, Eric, is a 25-year-old man from Poissy. He lived in a working-class neighborhood on the outskirts of town called Clos Miroir. He was known in his neighborhood for acts of petty crime including narcotics. His father contacted Mayor Karl Olive (LREM) to express his disappointment. Failing to understand how a 50-year-old man could kill his son under such circumstances.

The alleged perpetrator, from the Belfort region, is known on social networks for his positions close to the far right and against the barrier measures of the health crisis. He had been wanted by a Parisian magistrate since a conviction.
