A parcel deliverer sexually harassed a girl in the elevator of her apartment building on Monday afternoon. The 14-year-old was able to flee to her apartment after the violent attack. The 22-year-old suspect was caught by police the next day.
The crime happened around 4:30 p.m. in Munich-Ramersdorf. According to the police, the 14-year-old resident had opened the front door of the apartment building for the parcel deliverer. Together they both took the elevator to the eighth floor. According to the police, the 22-year-old tried to kiss the girl in the elevator. He also groped the 14-year-old. She fought back and fled to her mother’s apartment. The parcel service driver then took the elevator back down.
The 14-year-old confided in her mother, and both then went to the Perlacher police station to file a complaint. The girl was unharmed in the attack. Thanks to a very good description of the perpetrator, police officers were able to arrest the alleged perpetrator the following day at his workplace, a delivery center. Because he does not have a permanent residence in Germany, but lives in workers’ accommodation, an arrest warrant was issued against him.
