A paraglider crashed in Lower Franconia and was seriously injured. According to police on Monday, the cause of the crash is not yet clear. The 41-year-old man took off on his paraglider near Euerbach (Schweinfurt district) on Sunday. Shortly after takeoff, he fell almost 25 meters to the ground. First responders then called 911. The man was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter.
