It is 5.20 meters long and 3.20 meters high: the “Ahlen Mammoth” is coming back to the Geomuseum Münster. However, it is still unclear when visitors will be able to admire it.
With the “Ahlen Mammoth”, the Geomuseum of the University of Münster is getting back one of its main attractions. The museum near the cathedral has been restored for years and is scheduled to reopen to the public at the end of the year. An exact date has not yet been set.
