London – Princess Kate (42) will only take on official duties again after Easter after her visit to the hospital, Kensington Palace announced this in January. On it is Princess Kate in the passenger seat of an Audi near Windsor Castle Her mother, Carole Middleton (69), is behind the wheel. Both look serious, Kate is also wearing sunglasses. However, the pictures raise questions because Princess Kate looked tired and bloated. There were rumors that the woman in the photo might be her sister Pippa or a body double. Now the palace is releasing the first official photo of the princess.

The photo shows Princess Kate sitting on a chair surrounded by her three children. All four royals are beaming, the British princess has her hands wrapped around Louis (5) and Charlotte (8). George (10) hugs his mother from behind. She writes: “Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months.” She also wishes all Brits a happy Mother’s Day.
It is not known whether this is an old family photo that has just been posted or a new one. According to the Instagram post, Prince William took the sweet family photo – a detail that particularly delights royal fans. Under the photo you can also read thousands of appreciative comments, well wishes and Mother’s Day greetings.
“Nice to see you again, Princess. We love you,” writes an Instagram user. “It’s great to see that the Princess is recovering well and that Prince William is showing off his photographer side,” commented another royal fan. Another comment reads: “Aaa what a beautiful photo taken by our Prince of Wales! “It’s so wonderful to see our Princess of Wales again.”
