“Our village has a future”: Meinheim awarded in national competition – Bavaria

Just 600 people live in Meinheim and they live in perfect harmony. The village receives a prize for this – again. In an interview, the mayor explains why there are no problems in Meinheim and why nobody has to go to a nursing home.

The Central Franconian municipality of Meinheim is on a roll. Since 2013, the 600-inhabitant village in the Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district has received eight awards, most recently along with 21 other places (including Huglfing in the Weilheim-Schongau district) the gold award in the national competition “Our village has a future”. In an interview, Mayor Wilfried Cramer (Meinheim electoral community) explains why there are no problems in Meinheim and why nobody has to go to a nursing home.
