EXCLUSIVE – The Figaro list honors establishments supporting their students from second grade to the baccalaureate while ensuring them a mention.

Last June, almost 96% of candidates for the general baccalaureate obtained their diploma and more than 67% with a mention. All high schools in France would therefore lead to this sesame? Yes, but not in the same way. Because beyond preparing for the baccalaureate, establishments of excellence above all train in good methodology, a solid general culture and often go beyond the final year programs to facilitate the first steps of their high school students in higher education.

It is precisely these establishments that the Figaro is honored in its new list of the best high schools in France. A ranking which evaluates both private and public general high schools using data provided by the Directorate of Evaluation, Foresight and Performance (DEPP) at the Ministry of National Education. THE Figaro first takes into account the baccalaureate success rate, the mention rate and the access rate to the baccalaureate from the second year of high school, i.e. the percentage of second year students who reach the baccalaureate.
