An over 90-year-old driver overturned while parking his vehicle in Ottobrunn and suffered minor injuries. According to the police, the man wanted to park his car backwards into a parking lot next to an office building on Alte Landstrasse around 10:30 a.m. on Friday morning. The parking lot is about half a meter higher than the sidewalk next to it. During the parking process, the senior apparently missed the parking space and got over the edge of the property with his right rear tire. The car overturned onto the sidewalk on its right side. The driver was unable to get out of the vehicle and had to be freed by helpers. He suffered bruises on his upper body and a head laceration and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
