The painter, illustrator and author prefers to tell his stories in magical, realistic images. The 65-year-old, who has lived in Ottobrunn for more than three decades, is primarily known for his book illustrations. He is an artist who, with pen and brush, opens up spaces for dreams and stimulates the viewer’s imagination. A conversation about the stillness of time, the happiness of slowness and the global crises that are chasing each other faster and faster.
