Ottobrunn/Hohenbrunn – chain of lights for democracy and cohesion – district of Munich

Two local initiatives want to demonstrate next Thursday, February 3, in Ottobrunn and Hohenbrunn with a chain of lights for cohesion and democracy. “As citizens of many social groups, parties, churches and associations from Hohenbrunn and Ottobrunn, we want to show that we bear responsibility for one another and are prepared to make restrictions,” says an appeal under the hashtags “#Ottobrunn becomes visible” and ” #Hohenbrunn becomes visible”. One wants to “show gratitude to those who do self-sacrificing work for the community during the pandemic,” explains Monika Löser from Ottobrunn on behalf of the initiators.

All citizens are asked to line up along two axes from 7 p.m. – at a distance of 1.50 meters and with FFP2 masks. The first axis leads from Ottobrunn Town Hall to the St. Otto Church, along Eduard-Klas-Weg via Putzbrunner Straße to Friedenstraße. The second axis runs from the town hall to the church of St. Magdalena via the town hall, Pestalozzi and Ottostrasse. Accumulations should be avoided at all costs. If necessary, side streets should be used to avoid accumulation, according to the organizers. The core time of the registered demonstration is planned for 7:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
