The name OP Mainnet represents the foundational layer of the imagined superchain network. which currently has more than $1.3 billion worth of TVL.
OP Mainnet relies on Optimistic Rollups for its operations. This is a technology that integrates Ethereum transactions into a secondary layer. Helps to process transactions faster and cheaper. and addresses growing scaling concerns within the Ethereum network.
