Openness to technology: what the FDP could learn at the Hanover Fair – opinion

At the Hanover Fair you can see it again: so many devices are able to serve people. But it’s still no reason for “technology openness”, as the FDP will preach again at the party conference at the weekend.

The monkey hurls the bone in the air, it flies higher and higher, and then – what a cut! – turns him into a spaceship. There is hardly a simpler, more obvious way than Stanley Kubrick did in his science fiction classic “2001 – A Space Odyssey”: Technology is part of what makes people special.
