Open Monument Day Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen: Clinic to Schmied – Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen

To the “Open Monument Day” the public in the district can visit other exciting sites in addition to well-known industrial buildings such as the Walchensee power plant. On Sunday, September 11th, the Historical Association of Wolfratshausen will lead visitors through the old hospital on Sauerlacher Straße. The Maro cooperative, which is also building a multi-generation house on the site, is renovating this. Architectural historian Kaija Voss and building researcher Gerald Dobler welcome the public at 11 a.m. Then Wiggerl Gollwitzer auctioned off historic windows and oil lamps from the old hospital. There are guided tours of the building. On the construction site, visitors should remember to wear sturdy shoes.
