Hardly a month goes by without a manufacturer announcing a new electric car. Vans, sedans, compact and small cars, lots and lots of SUVs. But one vehicle class is missing from this list: station wagons. For families, things are looking pretty grim on the electric car market. So far, only VW is planning an electric version of the Passat. The station wagon will not be on the market before 2023.
