Shots were heard Wednesday evening, around 10 p.m., in the Chemin des Bardelières area, in Vaulx-en-Velin, a town east of Lyon. Immediately, a large police force was deployed. According to information from Progress, a 21-year-old man was hit and died of his injuries in the evening. Another 19-year-old man was injured in the abdomen and was rushed to Edouard-Herriot Hospital in Lyon.
The shooters, said to be two men, fled in a vehicle, reports BFM Lyon. An investigation will determine the exact circumstances of the facts which are still unknown.
