His company designed some of the most beautiful cars in the world, now Paolo Pininfarina has died as head of the legendary design company Pininfarina. He was 65 years old. The engineer, a mechanical engineer, who was born in Turin, joined the family business founded by his grandfather Battista (“Pinin”) Farina in 1930 at a young age. After the death of his brother Andrea, Paolo Pininfarina took over the management of the internationally acclaimed design studio and coachbuilding company in 2008.
