Omar Richards joins Nottingham Forest!

FC Bayern has found a buyer for Omar Richards. According to consistent media reports, Munich and Nottingham Forest have agreed on a change in the summer.

After Marc Roca, FC Bayern has apparently profitably sold another reservist in Omar Richards. As reported by the British TelegraphMunich have reached an agreement with Nottingham Forest. “Sky” reporter Florian Plettenberg has also confirmedthat the transfer is about to be completed.

Bayern received almost ten million euros for Richards

Richards joined Reading and FC Bayern on a free transfer in the summer of 2021 and was signed as a backup for Alphonso Davies. The 24-year-old played 17 games for the record champions last season, but mostly had to settle for just a few minutes.

According to the “Telegraph”, Bayern collect almost ten million euros for Richards. In view of the player’s current market value, which is estimated at seven million euros, and the fact that FCB itself did not pay a fee for the defender, this is certainly a very good transfer for Bayern. Bayern can use the money in the transfer poker for Matthijs de Ligt.

The player should also already agree with Nottingham. The deal is expected to be officially announced later this week. It will be exciting to see if Bayern sign a new backup for the left-back position. Lucas Hernandez could fill that role, but the Frenchman is firmly scheduled in central defence.
