In many cases, Oktoberfest means: intoxication. Mostly purchased legally and expensively in the beer tents. But there is the other thing, illegal intoxication. Drugs that are prohibited by the Criminal Code are also sold at the Oktoberfest. There were 184 cases of drug-related crime that were punished by the police last year, 238 at the last Oktoberfest before the Corona break (2019).
