This year too, players, coaches and officials from FC Bayern Munich visited Oktoberfest with their families. The professionals around new striker Harry Kane were in a good mood the day after the 7-0 win against VfL Bochum.
“We will put the jugs up,” announced national player Thomas Müller upon arrival. Kane & Co. came in traditional costume – lederhosen, vest and jacket – and the partners presented dirndls. On the way to the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke, the professionals waved to fans and held up filled beer mugs for photos. “The players all know that they have to play again in the next few days,” said club president Herbert Hainer about possible beer consumption. “I want to soak up as much of the festival as possible,” Kane announced for his Oktoberfest premiere with the record champions: “It has a great tradition.”
Thomas Tuchel also attended the Oktoberfest for the first time as Bayern coach. “Delicious food is always good, and traditional food is very welcome,” said the 50-year-old.
Tuchel came in costume. Although he had announced at a press conference a few days earlier that he would not drink “beer at all,” he held up a measure for the cameras.
The FC Bayern Munich players arrived together by bus. As soon as we got out, the good mood after the great victory the day before was noticeable.
Before they even went into the tent, each player received the first measure in their hands. Thomas Müller was also there. The 34-year-old has been playing for the Bayern professional team since 2008.
Harry Kane had previously emphasized that he was really looking forward to his first Oktoberfest visit with the team. The 30-year-old was clearly having fun after putting in a brilliant performance in the win against Bochum the day before.
The striker met his double Steffen in front of the tent.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting came accompanied by his wife Nevin Choupo-Moting. The two have been married for ten years. For Choupo-Moting, who came to FC Bayern Munich in 2020, it is already the second club Oktoberfest.
The former Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber and his wife Karin were there, like every year. The now 81-year-old sits on the supervisory board of FC Bayern Munich.
Honorary President Uli Hoeneß and his wife Susanne also made a point of attending the Oktoberfest with the other club leaders.
Substitute goalkeeper Sven Ulreich came accompanied by his wife Lisa. Since Manuel Neuer is still out, the 35-year-old has been mostly in goal for Bayern since the summer.
For Konrad Laimer, who only moved to Bayern from Leipzig in the summer, it was also the first visit to the Oktoberfest with his new team colleagues. He came accompanied by his wife Ines-Sarah; the couple had married in June.
Manuel Neuer is not yet fit enough for the playing field after his skiing accident at the beginning of the year, but he was enough to attend the Oktoberfest with his colleagues Harry Kane and Thomas Müller.
Kingsley Coman came accompanied by his fiancée Sabrina Duvad.
A meal was served in the tent for the FC Bayern players. Coman and Duvad sat next to Alphonso Davies and his girlfriend Sheyenne Jen.
