What were the musical bestsellers of the week in Germany? GfK Entertainment identified them and compiled them into rankings.
For the third time in a row, rapper Katja Krasavice has reached the top of the album charts. Her new album “Pussy Power” is number one in the official German album charts, as announced by GfK Entertainment on Friday.
“No rapper has done this before.” In the singles ranking, the single “Onlyfans” by the 25-year-old came in second. The US newcomer Gayle (“abcdefu”) is at the front for the sixth time.
The influence of last Sunday’s “Super Bowl” is also noticeable in the single charts this week: The hip-hop classic “Still DRE” by Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg, who was performed during the halftime show, is at number 45. Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” makes a comeback at number 64.
The album charts are otherwise dominated by rock music. The ska-punk band Sondaschule came in second with “Invincible”, while the Finnish metal band Amorphis (“Halo”) secured third place. Guns n’ Roses guitarist Slash lands on number four together with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators (“4”).
