Obligation to test for retirement homes is extended – Ebersberg

The general decree, which provides for compulsory testing for residents of inpatient care facilities, facilities for people with disabilities, old people’s homes and retirement homes, will be extended until March 19th. The Ebersberg district office announced this in a press release. Those affected must therefore be tested for a corona infection on at least three different days per calendar week, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or have recovered from Covid 19 disease. According to the district office, the facilities must have a corresponding test concept.

The extension of the general decree is also necessary because the seven-day incidence continues to stagnate at a high level. According to the Robert Koch Institute, the value for the Ebersberg district was 1459.5 on Thursday. 28 patients with Covid 19 disease are currently being treated in the Ebersberg district clinic, 19 come from the district. Two corona patients have to be cared for in the intensive care unit, one person with ventilation. 18 of the patients are fully vaccinated. There are also eight suspected cases in the clinic.
