You have to be at least 14 years old to use an e-scooter. Nevertheless, a nine-year-old in Oberhaching drove such an electric scooter and collided with a mobile home at an intersection. The boy suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. According to the police, the nine-year-old drove east on Tuesday afternoon around 5 p.m. on the Büchlweg footpath and cycle path. When he wanted to cross the intersection with Kohlstattstrasse, he apparently did not pay attention to the mobile home of a 52-year-old man from Oberhaching, which came from Kohlstattstrasse and had the right of way. The child fell onto the roadway as a result of the collision. The handlebars on the e-scooter broke and the motorhome was dented on the fender. The driver was not injured.
