Oberhaching – Junge Union wants to strengthen business schools – Munich district

The Junge Union (JU) München-Land is in favor of the possibility of being able to attend state business schools from the fifth grade. Up to now, pupils have not been able to simply switch to the fifth grade of a business school after primary school, with the only exception to this rule being private business schools. “We want to strengthen our local business schools with this initiative,” says JU district chairman Jan Kämmerer from Unterschleißheim. Due to the structural disadvantages of state business schools, the number of new admissions has fallen by 63 since the 2009/2010 school year, and some locations are already at risk, according to Kämmerer. In the district of Munich there is a branch of the Dieter-Hildebrandt-Wirtschaftsschule in Munich-Sendling in Oberhaching. According to the JU, the advantages of a five-stage business school are obvious: Pupils are offered an education that lasts and companies benefit from well-trained specialists.
