In a raid on a supermarket in Oberhaching, a man stabbed a cashier in the leg. The previously unknown perpetrator rammed a knife into the cashier’s thigh when he did not immediately hand out cash, the police said on Thursday.
The employee of the supermarket in the district of Munich was taken to a hospital after the incident shortly before the store closed on Wednesday. The perpetrator fled with a four-digit amount of cash. The police were initially unable to identify a suspect.
The perpetrator is described as follows: male, about 1.70 meters tall, he was dressed in a black jacket, balaclava, sunglasses, Nike sneakers and gloves. The suspect spoke German with a foreign accent.
