A 12-year-old girl fell to her death from a balcony in Nuremberg. The balcony of the parents’ apartment was on the fifth floor, the police said on Tuesday. Witnesses reported the fall in the Schoppershof district on Monday afternoon.
Rescue workers tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate the twelve-year-old. An emergency chaplain then looked after the relatives of the girl. The police assume it was an accident. The cause was initially unclear.
