The e-file is introduced at the Nuremberg-Fürth regional court. Since this Monday, the court has only been using electronic files in new civil proceedings of the first instance. This shortens procedures, saves waiting times and protects the health of those involved in the process in times of pandemic, said Bavaria’s Justice Minister Georg Eisenreich (CSU). A number of courts in Bavaria have already had experience with electronic files, including the Erlangen District Court, the Regensburg Regional Court and the Munich Higher Regional Court.
