Nuclear power: What is at stake for the Greens with the exit – opinion

It is a maximum-risk operation and a historic turning point. The Greens are correcting their anti-nuclear course, at least if necessary and to prevent Germany’s economy from collapsing because of a lack of natural gas. First the country, then green matters of the heart – that is the message of this maneuver. If it succeeds, the Greens are ready for the chancellorship. If things go wrong, the party can pack up.
