Right-wing terrorist Beate Zschäpe, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment, wants to join the state of Saxony’s dropout program. This was confirmed by her lawyer Mathias Grasel Süddeutsche Zeitung. She has therefore already twice contacted the management of the women’s prison in Chemnitz, where Zschäpe has been incarcerated since 2019. So far, however, those responsible in the prison have decided that the time is not yet ripe for this. First the internal social therapy for Zschäpe had to be more advanced and they had to get to know Zschäpe better. Apparently, the JVA is skeptical about Zschäpe’s suggestion.
