Oliver Krischer has only been Minister for the Environment and Transport in North Rhine-Westphalia for seven weeks. The green wanted to familiarize himself with it, but he is already right in the middle of it: lignite protests, low water in the Rhine. And now the quarrel over the nine-euro ticket. Krischer likes to talk plainly about this – and not just as a representative of his state.
