In a circular dating from November 22 and spotted by Le Point, Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne invites members of the government and ministerial offices to uninstall WhatsApp, Signal and Telegram from their smartphones. And this for cybersecurity issues.
It formally requests the deployment and installation of French messaging applications such as “Olvid” or “Tchap” on phones and computers, by December 8 at the latest.
