“No leads” have been ruled out according to the prosecutor

Three days later, concern grew in Alsace. Despite intensive searches and citizen searches, including an impressive one this Tuesday, Lina remains nowhere to be found. The 15-year-old girl has not given any sign of life since Saturday shortly before noon, when she left her home in Champenay (Bas-Rhin), heading towards the Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station. But the teenager never arrived in Strasbourg where her boyfriend was waiting for her…

Where is she ? The Saverne public prosecutor, who opened an investigation into a “disturbing disappearance”, did not have the answer late Tuesday afternoon. “We are not ruling out any leads and are actively pursuing the necessary investigations,” declared Aline Clérot in particular before returning to the events since Saturday.

For example, the young girl had to walk “2.9 kilometers” between her home located in Champenay and the station. On this path, which she knew very well, “two witnesses” saw her. “On his route, no traces on the roadway or the shoulder were observed suggesting the occurrence of a road accident,” said the prosecutor.

The police were notified around 1 p.m. of this disappearance, after the friend who was waiting for Lina in Strasbourg informed her mother that she was not on the train. Searches were quickly carried out in the area by the gendarmerie. Via surveillance cameras too, including those on the train, which yielded nothing.

“His phone stopped transmitting at 11:22 a.m. in the search area. No banking activity has been spotted,” said Aline Clérot, who therefore plans to continue searching the area. “We are making great progress in a sector which still needs to be verified”, a sector “rural, mountainous, and with the presence of water. »

Several relatives of Lina have also been heard these days. “Those close to him have not reported any recent or long-standing elopement to support a voluntary action for the time being,” concluded the magistrate.
