Nirvana: Lawsuit against “Nevermind” cover reopened – Panorama

Spencer Elden, 32, “Nevermind” baby, could still have legal success. An appeals court in the US state of California has reinstated its lawsuit, according to which the band Nirvana sexually exploited children when she showed him naked in a pool on the cover of her album “Nevermind.” Elden was four months old when the picture was taken and he wants compensation for “lifelong damage.” The lawsuit had previously been dismissed citing statutes of limitations. The appeal court has now allowed the lawsuit because the image was also used on a re-release of the album in 2021.

Judith Rakers, 47, “Tagesschau” spokeswoman, wants to do more sport. She wrote on Instagram that she was only pain-free again thanks to a nerve root injection – she had previously pinched a nerve in her cervical spine and could hardly sleep for two weeks because of the pain. “It was all caused by poor posture at the desk and not enough exercise.” Next year she wants to listen more to her body. “I’ll be back on air on Saturday, with a straight neck and back.”

Bradley Cooper, 48, actor and director, wears a name tag to the class reunion. He had just been to the 30-year final reunion, Cooper told American late-night talker Jimmy Fallon. “It was great, it was just normal,” Cooper said. The only person he didn’t like from his high school year didn’t show up.

Wim Wenders, 78, director, likes having women on set. “To put it bluntly: Men among themselves usually don’t have a great work ethic,” said Wenders New Osnabrücker Zeitung. “There is too much silence or too many stupid jokes. When women join in, the attitude changes suddenly; in well-mixed teams everyone is in a different mood, more alert and more agile.”
