Nîmes Olympique supporters file a complaint against their own club

Three groups of Nîmes Olympique supporters announced this Thursday that they had filed a complaint against Rani Assaf, the president of their own club. On August 25, on the occasion of the national match against Le Mans, the Central Club of Nîmes Olympique supporters, the Gladiators and Nemausus 2013 presented themselves with their tarpaulin and their entertainment equipment at the entrance to the stadium, in the presence of a bailiff.

The security agents then refuse the introduction of these objects into the stadium. However, only the names of the associations appear on these tarpaulins, according to the supporters. Which point out that their counterparts in Le Mans were able to introduce their own tarpaulin without problem into the stadium grounds. And place it in the parking lot reserved for them.

Tensions and sporting decline

On Thursday, their lawyer Lionel Marzials filed a complaint. One more line in the long list of tensions between the Nîmes ultras and the president of the club. Tensions against a backdrop of strong sporting decline: Nîmes Olympique, relegated by two divisions in three seasons, is still looking for its first success at the third national level after four days.
