As the world puzzles over Daniel Craig’s Bond successor, Léa Seydoux ponders Madeleine Swann’s return.

Bond fans worldwide are speculating who will succeed Daniel Craig (54). Meanwhile, Léa Seydoux (37) is wondering if her character Madeleine Swann could possibly return for the next 007 flick. Seydoux appeared in this role in James Bond 007: Specter and James Bond 007: No Time to Die, the two most recent installments in the cult series.

Warning, spoilers!

“After all, I’m not dead,” the French actress said during the Telluride Film Festival told the industry portal “Deadline”.. “James died, not Madeleine. So who knows? Maybe I’ll return. […] There will be a new Bond because Daniel’s Bond died, but who can say Madeleine won’t return?”

But this statement has so far been pure speculation, as the 37-year-old explains herself. So far, Seydoux has not spoken to Bond producer Barbara Broccoli (62) about a possible return. There is still a lot to be done before we get to the point where we can talk about it. At the same time, the actress also shows that she is probably open to a return.

James Bond is reinvented

In June Broccoli had told the portalthat it will be a long time before a new Bond is found and the next film hits the cinemas. The producer stated that it will be “at least two years” before filming begins on the next 007 film. The search for a Craig successor has not even begun, as “a reinvention of Bond” is in development.

Fans have been debating who could replace Craig in the new film for months. Among others, names such as Regé-Jean Page (34), Henry Cavill (39), Aidan Turner (39), Michael Fassbender (45) and Tom Hardy (44) were mentioned. Idris Elba (49) will at least probably not be the agent. According to the British “The Sun” An insider revealed in August that the actor took himself out of the running: “Fans and Barbara wanted Idris, but he wants to create something for himself.”
