News from television painter Bob Ross – Culture

The first painting that Bob Ross painted in front of the camera in 1983 in the television series “The Joy of Painting” is now being offered by the “Modern Artifact” gallery in Minneapolis – and the coverage is surprisingly comprehensive: from The Art Newspaper from London and New York to Bildzeitung from Berlin. Minneapolis is not exactly a center of the art world, and the so-called gallery is more of a buying and selling facility for everything, listing Bob Ross right under Bob Dylan. (Unfortunately they don’t have any of this in stock at the moment, but if you have anything to offer by Dylan yourself, please let them know…).
