New Year’s Eve in the district of Ebersberg: Ignitions and punches – Ebersberg

A total of 8,000 euros in damage was caused in Markt Schwaben, where between 1.26 and 1.36 a.m. in Von-Kobell- and Enzensberger Straße, unknown persons set several containers on fire with fireworks. One of the cyclists was slightly injured in the face, the damage to the mobile home is around 2000 euros, according to the police.

Not alcohol but poor visibility from fireworks smoke was the cause of an accident around 4:30 a.m. near Emmering. The 60-year-old driver left the road but was not injured.

The police also reported several disturbances of the peace in various places, but gave the revelers a good report overall: They were “all understanding and insightful,” writes the Ebersberg police in their report.
