Selena Gomez has released “a fun little song” with “Single Soon”. On Instagram, she thanks her fans for their support.
Selena Gomez (31) thanked her fans for their support after the release of her new song “Single Soon” on Instagram. “Thanks for all the love for ‘Single Soon’ folks,” she writes about a picture that appears to be dated August 25th released music video. It also makes it clear that there is more to the song than meets the eye.
She’s been asked about new music for a while now and says “Single Soon” is “a fun little song” that she feels is perfect for the end of summer, announced Gomez a week ago. In the song, she first considers breaking up with a partner before singing, among other things, “I date who I want / go out as long as I want / I do what I want”.
“It’s a playful hymn to being comfortable in your own skin and loving your own company,” the singer and actress explains on Instagram. And the fun should not be neglected, as she shows not only in the video. Because it’s really fun too [zu dem Song] to dance,” she continues.
Selena Gomez and the “freedom of relationships”
While Gomez says fans will still have to wait a bit for her upcoming album, she hinted back in February that her listeners can apparently expect more songs with similar content.
“If it were up to me I would probably write ballads my whole life, but I want to make music that makes people smile”, she explained in an interview with “Vanity Fair”. The music she is currently working on is about “real things that I’m going through”. She is “really powerful, strong and very trendy. The theme in general is freedom – freedom from relationships, freedom from darkness.”
