Racing cyclists behave in a predictable way. This does not necessarily apply in traffic, of course, but rather for the topics that are discussed on joint trips. Favorite and long-running topics are, surprise: racing bikes. With great speaking condition, it is about individual components, entire bikes and new models that make an enthusiast’s mouth water. Recently, some of these kilometers of conversation circled around the manufacturer Specialized, which has thrown through its model range, which includes some classics. The Tarmac, for example, has been the brand’s competition bike for many years, trimmed more for lightweight construction and can be found very often in professional teams as well as in hobby racing. Or the Venge, an aerodynamically optimized racing bike for fast flat stages and sprints.
