The new Macan is not a sacrifice model. Unless you can’t do it without that distinctive combustion engine sound that many people still associate with a Porsche. This is no longer available in the Macan. With the new generation, which should be available at dealers by autumn at the latest, the SUV will become a purely electric car. The start-stop button in the new Macan has remained on the far left of the dashboard, as it has in every Porsche since the first 911. On the right, half hidden by the steering wheel, is the stub for selecting the direction of travel. There is no switching, there is only one gear and no clutch.
