New Lana Del Rey Album: Extended “Hello” From Ex-Culture

From

Before we devote ourselves to the 77 minutes of heavy Lana Del Rey’s new album, a detour into the most revealing world of gossip. More precisely: off to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Medium-sized city on Route 66 between Chicago and California. A billboard loomed in the December winter sky in Tulsa. Then, in black and white, the poutiest singer in the USA: Lana Del Rey, her head resting on her hand, a bow in her hair, a curl falling in her face. The singer directs her overcast, weary eyes to the street, the city, and the houses. A certain police officer lives in one of them, maybe just coming home from work. The view from the billboard as if it were meant just for him.
