New day of strike this Tuesday, April 18 in Tisséo transport, suspense for the metro

After the “historic” day on Tuesday April 11, during which the Toulouse metro was stopped by a strike for the first time in thirty years of existence, the agents Tisseo are mobilizing again this Tuesday. Apart from Téléo, which will operate normally, “strong disturbances” are to be expected throughout the network.

According to union sources, more than half of the bus drivers will walk off during the day, the available staff being redeployed as a priority on the Linéo lines. The tram could start in the morning but quickly become scarce. The metro will also be disrupted but the suspense remains on Monday as to its possible stop.

Tisséo employees are on strike against the removal of their “safeguard clause”, which generally allows wages and bonuses to be aligned with inflation. They must converge this Tuesday around 11 am towards the Capitol to try to meet the mayor, Jean-Luc Moudenc.
